General Situation
The area of low pressure now to the north of Luzon will enter the northeastern part of the South China Sea and develop into a tropical cyclone gradually in the next couple of days. It will linger over the region and intensify, however, there are uncertainties in its subsequent movement. It will have a higher chance to turn northwards, move in the general direction of the vicinity of Taiwan and the coast of eastern Guangdong. The weather will be very hot over Guangdong in the next couple of days. Showers triggered by high temperatures will also affect the region. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to edge closer to the coast of Guangdong early to midweek next week, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the region.
