Winds will be weak over Guangdong in the next couple of days. It will be very hot during the day. High temperatures will also trigger thundery showers. A broad trough of low pressure will affect the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next few days. An area of low pressure may form over it during the weekend. The broad trough of low pressure is expected to move northwards gradually towards the coast of southern China. It will linger over the coastal areas and bring unsettled weather to the region in the middle and latter parts of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Co-May will turn northeastwards today, then move across the northern part of Luzon and towards the seas east of Taiwan. Tropical Cyclone Francisco will move across the seas in the vicinity of Ryukyu Islands, then move towards the coast of southeastern China and weaken.
