Hong Kong is set to make a groundbreaking appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, signaling its ambitious vision to become a global technology innovation hub. From January 6 to 9, the city will send its largest-ever delegation of 60 technology companies to Las Vegas, showcasing the remarkable depth and diversity of its technological capabilities.
The delegation, jointly led by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), represents a strategic move to amplify the city’s international tech presence. This year’s participation marks a significant leap forward, with companies positioned across two key areas: the Eureka Park zone for emerging startups and the Global Pavilion for established enterprises seeking international expansion.

The delegation’s credibility is immediately underscored by three prestigious CES 2026 Innovation Awards. Point Fit Technology Limited has been recognized in the Digital Health category for its revolutionary ultra-thin wearable skin patch that continuously monitors health through sweat lactate analysis. Eieling Technology Limited earned honors for a portable fatty liver diagnostic device capable of delivering medical-grade assessments in just 30 seconds. Perhaps most impressively, Widemount Dynamics Tech Limited secured the “Best of Innovation” award for an AI-powered firefighting robot designed for high-risk industrial environments.

These award-winning technologies represent just a glimpse of Hong Kong’s technological innovation. The delegation spans five critical technology sectors: Advanced Materials and Sustainability, AI and Data, Digital Transformation, Electronics and Robotics, and Life and Health. This comprehensive representation demonstrates the city’s multifaceted approach to technological development.

Some particularly intriguing companies in the delegation showcase Hong Kong’s commitment to solving global challenges through innovative solutions. Airoma AI Limited will demonstrate an “electronic nose” that uses micro-electro-mechanical systems and artificial intelligence to digitize and recognize scents. Plasticvore Chain Limited is introducing the world’s first AI-powered pest control system constructed from recycled tire materials, brilliantly merging sustainability with smart technology.

The potential impact of this participation is substantial. Derek Chim from HKSTP noted that last year’s Hong Kong Tech Pavilion attracted over 16,000 visitors and generated more than HK$100 million in business opportunities. By bringing the largest-ever delegation to CES 2026, the city aims to significantly scale up this impact and create new international connections.
Iris Wong from HKTDC emphasized the long-standing commitment to promoting Hong Kong’s tech sector globally, highlighting that the council has been leading Hong Kong’s tech industry participation in CES for over 40 years. The CES pavilions serve as a critical platform for local tech enterprises to “go global,” facilitating international expansion through strategic exhibitions and networking opportunities.
Visitors to CES 2026 can explore the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion in two locations: Eureka Park in Hall G and the Global Pavilion in Hall A. Companies and investors interested in partnerships or investment opportunities are encouraged to engage with the delegation during the event.
This historic delegation represents more than just a showcase of technological prowess. It symbolizes Hong Kong’s strategic vision to position itself as a dynamic, innovative technology hub capable of addressing complex global challenges through cutting-edge solutions. By bringing together diverse technologies across multiple sectors, Hong Kong is not just participating in the global tech conversation—it’s helping to lead it.
