General Situation
The northeast monsoon now affecting the coast of Guangdong will moderate gradually later tomorrow. It will be warm during the day over the region on Wednesday. A replenishment of the monsoon will reach the coast of southern China on Thursday morning, temperatures will fall progressively over the region during Christmas holidays. It will be rather cool in the morning, and cold over inland areas. Under the persistent influence of a dry monsoon, the weather will be mainly fine over Guangdong during the weekend to early next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. A band of clouds is expected to affect the northern part of the South China Sea midweek next week.
