General Situation
The trough of low pressure now affecting the northern part of Guangdong will edge closer to the coastal areas gradually and bring showers and thunderstorms to the region tomorrow. With the trough of low pressure moving into the northern part of the South China Sea, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong in the following couple of days. Meanwhile, a strong easterly airstream will affect the region. A southwesterly airstream will establish over the coast of southern China gradually early next week, bringing hot and showery weather to the region. Another trough of low pressure is expected to edge closer to southern China midweek next week.
