General Situation
Under the combined effect of the intense northeast monsoon and Tropical Cyclone Fengshen, it will be persistently windy and appreciably cooler with rain over the coast of southern China in the next couple of days. Seas will be rough with swells. Under the influence of the monsoon, Fengshen will start to turn southwestwards and weaken tomorrow. With Fengshen departing from the coast of Guangdong and gradually dissipating, the weather will be brighter over the region in the latter part of this week. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will moderate slightly, daytime temperatures over southern China will rise. A replenishment of the monsoon is expected to affect the coast of Guangdong early next week, it will be dry during the day and there will be sunny periods over the region.
