General Situation
An intense northeast monsoon will persist over southern China in the next few days. Tropical Cyclone Fengshen will move across the central and northern parts of the South China Sea tomorrow, gradually edging closer to the coast of Guangdong. Under the combined effect of the monsoon and Fengshen, it will be persistently windy with rain over the coast of southern China in the next few days. Temperatures will fall appreciably. Seas will be rough with swells. Under the influence of the monsoon, Fengshen will start to turn southwestwards and weaken on Tuesday. With Fengshen departing from the coast of Guangdong, the weather will be brighter and daytime temperatures will rise over the region in the latter part of this week.
