General Situation
An intense northeast monsoon will reach Guangdong tomorrow. Winds will strengthen from the north over the region. Meanwhile, Tropical Cyclone Fengshen will move across the vicinity of Luzon, and enter the central and northern parts of the South China Sea. Under the combined effect of the monsoon and Fengshen, it will be persistently windy with rain and temperatures will fall appreciably over the coast of southern China in the following few days. Seas will be rough with swells. Under the influence of the monsoon, Fengshen will begin to turn to a southwesterly track gradually and weaken on Tuesday, but there are uncertainties in the location of the turn. With Fengshen departing from the coast of Guangdong, the weather will be brighter and daytime temperatures will rise over the region in the latter part of next week.
