General Situation
An anticyclone aloft will bring generally fine weather to Guangdong in the next few days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to affect the vicinity of the east of the Philippines to the central part of the South China Sea in the latter part of this week. It will gradually edge closer to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China early next week. There will be showers and thunderstorms over the region. The northeast monsoon will affect southern China in the middle and latter parts of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Halong will move across the seas south of Japan today and tomorrow.
