General Situation
Tropical Cyclone Ragasa will edge closer to the vicinity of the western coast of Guangdong today. There will be frequent heavy squally showers, thunderstorms and significant storm surge over the region. Seas will be phenomenal with swells. With Ragasa moving further away from Guangdong and weakening gradually, the weather will improve with showers easing off gradually in the next couple of days. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Bualoi over the western North Pacific will move towards Philippines and enter the South China Sea today and tomorrow. It will then move across the central and southern parts of the South China Sea in the general direction of the seas south of Hainan Island. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening, the weather will be mainly fine over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of next week.
