General Situation
Tropical Cyclone Ragasa will edge closer to the coast of Guangdong gradually tomorrow. Under the influence of its outer subsiding air, the weather will remain very hot over southern China at first tomorrow. However, under the influence of the extensive circulation of Ragasa, the weather over the coastal areas will deteriorate rapidly with winds strengthening significantly later tomorrow. There will be frequent heavy squally showers, thunderstorms and significant storm surge on Wednesday. Seas will be very high with swells. With the departure of Ragasa, showers will ease off gradually and the weather will improve in the latter part of this week. Besides, a broad area of low pressure over the western North Pacific will develop gradually in the next couple of days, it will move across the Philippines and enter the South China Sea.
