Tropical Cyclone Tapah will move towards the western coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. It will be windy with heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the coastal areas of Guangdong. Seas will be rough with swells. It will then move into inland Guangdong and weaken gradually. However, under the influence of an active southerly airstream, there will still be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China midweek this week. An anticyclone aloft is expected to cover southeastern China in the latter part of this week, the weather will be generally fine and persistently very hot, and winds will be weak over the coast of southern China.
