General Situation
The tropical cyclone over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea will intensify gradually today and tomorrow and edge closer to the western coast of Guangdong. It will be windy with heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the coastal areas on Sunday and Monday. Seas will be rough with swells. Under the influence of an active southerly airstream, there will still be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China in the middle part of next week. An anticyclone aloft is expected to bring generally fine and very hot weather to Guangdong in the latter part of next week.
