General Situation
An anticyclone aloft will continue to bring generally fine and extremely hot weather to southern China tomorrow. Showers triggered by high temperatures will also affect the inland areas. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure near Luzon will develop into a tropical cyclone and move in the general direction of the coast of Guangdong. However, its intensity and speed of movement remain uncertain. Under its influence, it will be windy and the weather will become unsettled over the coast of Guangdong on Sunday and Monday. There will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms. Seas will be rough with swells. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening again, showers will ease off gradually and the weather will improve in the middle and latter parts of next week. It will be very hot over southern China . Besides, Tropical Cyclone Peipah will move across the vicinity of the southern part of Honshu of Japan today, and then transform into an extratropical cyclone gradually.
