General Situation
The area of low pressure now near Luzon will develop into a tropical cyclone gradually. It is expected to move across the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next couple of days in the general direction of the southern part of Hainan Island and the seas to its south. It will bring squally showers and thunderstorms to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong. There will be swells over the region. A broad trough of low pressure will affect the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of next week. The weather will still be unsettled over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Lingling will move across the seas east of Kyushu of Japan and dissipate gradually today.
