General Situation
Under the influence of a ridge of high pressure, the weather will improve over southeastern China tomorrow. A broad area of low pressure will form over the central to northern parts of the South China Sea in the next couple of days and move towards the vicinity of Hainan Island to the coast of western Guangdong gradually. However, whether it will develop into a tropical cyclone remains uncertain. Under the combined effect of the ridge of high pressure over southeastern China and the broad area of low pressure, it will be windy over the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea. There will be heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the region early next week. With the broad area of low pressure moving inland and weakening, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of next week.
