General Situation
The weather will be very hot over Guangdong in the next couple of days. Thundery showers triggered by high temperatures will also affect the region. A broad trough of low pressure will affect the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next couple of days, an area of low pressure may form over it during the weekend. The broad trough of low pressure is expected to move northwards gradually towards the coast of southern China in the middle to latter parts of next week, bringing showers to the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Co-May will move northeast, skirting the northern part of Luzon and the seas east of Taiwan towards the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, Tropical Cyclone Francisco will move across the East China Sea towards the coast of southeastern China and weaken.
