General Situation
Winds will be weak over Guangdong in the next couple of days. It will be very hot during the day apart from isolated showers. A broad trough of low pressure will bring showers and thunderstorms to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next few days. A tropical cyclone within will linger over the northern part of Luzon, and then move towards the seas east of Taiwan. There may be another area of low pressure over the weekend. The broad trough of low pressure is expected to move northwards towards the coast of southern China, and bring unsettled weather to the region in the middle and latter parts of next week. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Francisco now to the east of Luzon Strait will move in the general direction of the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands in the next couple of days, and then enter the coast of southeastern China.
