Tropical Cyclone Wipha will continue to intensify. It will be rather close to the vicinity of the Pearl River Estuary tomorrow. There will be frequent heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the region. Seas will be high with swells. With Wipha departing, winds will weaken gradually in the following couple of days. However, there will still be squally showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China. Under the influence of a broad trough of low pressure, there will still be a few showers over the coast of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of next week.
