General Situation
The easterly airstream now affecting the coast of Guangdong will be replaced by a southerly airstream gradually in the next couple of days. Under the influence of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be mainly fine over southern China during the weekend and early next week. It will be very hot during the day. A broad area of low pressure is expected to develop gradually over the seas near Luzon during the weekend to early next week. However, there is a rather large uncertainty in its speed of development and movement. It may enter the South China Sea, and then move towards the coast of southern China in the middle and latter parts of next week. It will also have a chance to turn from the western North Pacific to the vicinity of Taiwan.
