General Situation
The easterly airstream now affecting the coast of Guangdong will be replaced by a southwesterly airstream gradually in the next couple of days. The weather will be hot with a few showers over the region. Meanwhile, the broad trough of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea will weaken gradually. Another trough of low pressure over central China is expected to edge closer to the coast of southern China on Tuesday and Wednesday. The weather will become unsettled over the region. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening in the latter part of next week, showers will ease off and the weather will improve over Guangdong.
