General Situation
The ridge of high pressure over eastern China will bring a strong easterly airstream to the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. A broad trough of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea will bring unsettled weather to the region in the next couple of days. The area of low pressure to the east of Hainan Island will move eastwards across the northern part of the South China Sea. Under the influence of a southwesterly airstream, the weather will be hot with a few showers over the coast of southern China early next week. Another trough of low pressure over central China is expected to edge closer to southern China on Tuesday and Wednesday. There will still be showers over the region.
