General Situation
Tropical Cyclone Danas will move slowly over the northeastern part of the South China Sea and intensify gradually today and tomorrow. It will accelerate northeastwards afterwards in the general direction of the western coast of Taiwan to the vicinity of Taiwan Strait. Very hot weather and showers triggered by high temperatures will affect Guangdong in the next couple of days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to the coast of Guangdong in the middle to latter parts of next week. With the trough of low pressure weakening, showers will ease off gradually and the weather will improve over the next weekend.
