General Situation
The tropical cyclone over the northeastern part of the South China Sea will linger over the region and intensify gradually today and tomorrow. It will then turn northwards and move in the general direction of the vicinity of Taiwan Strait and the coast of eastern Guangdong. Very hot weather and showers triggered by high temperatures will affect Guangdong in the next couple of days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to edge closer to the coast of Guangdong gradually early to midweek next week, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the region.
