The tropical cyclone now near Leizhou Peninsula will move into the inland areas of Guangxi today. An active southerly airstream will bring showers and thunderstorms to the coast of southern China in the next few days. With the strengthening of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will improve and it will be very hot over southern China midweek next week.
