General Situation
Under the dominance of an anticyclone aloft, the weather will be generally fine and very hot persistently over southern China in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea. With the broad trough of low pressure edging closer to the coast of southern China in the middle and latter parts of this week, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the region. The broad trough of low pressure is expected to linger over the vicinity of the northern part of the South China Sea over the weekend to early next week. Unsettled weather will persist over the region.
