General Situation
The northeast monsoon will persist over the coast of southern China in the next few days. A band of clouds will cover the region gradually in the next couple of days. With the band of clouds thinning out, it will be brighter over the coastal areas towards the weekend. A cold front is expected to move across Guangdong on Saturday. Winds will strengthen from the north, there will be one or two rain patches and temperatures will fall appreciably over the region. Under the influence of the associated dry northeast monsoon, the weather will improve and it will be cool in the morning and at night over the coast of Guangdong early next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas.
