General Situation
A dry northeast monsoon will continue to affect southern China in the next couple of days. The weather will be mainly fine over the region. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. A broad band of clouds will cover the coastal areas of Guangdong in the middle to latter parts of next week. A cold front is expected to reach southern China next weekend. Winds will strengthen from the north, there will be one or two rain patches and temperatures will fall appreciably over the region. Under the influence of the associated northeast monsoon, the weather will improve gradually and it will be cool in the morning and at night over the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the tropical cyclone near the Philippines will move across the central and southern parts of the Philippines, then enter the southern part of the South China Sea and weaken gradually in the next couple of days.
