General Situation
Under the persistent influence of the northeast monsoon, the weather will be mainly fine and dry over southern China in the next couple of days. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. A broad band of clouds will cover the coastal areas of Guangdong gradually in the middle and latter parts of next week. A cold front is expected to reach southern China next weekend. Winds will strengthen from the north, there will be one or two rain patches and temperatures will fall appreciably over the region. Besides, the tropical cyclone over the seas east of the Philippines will move across the central and southern parts of the Philippines in the next couple of days. It will then enter the southern part of the South China Sea and weaken gradually.
