General Situation
The northeast monsoon will continue to affect the coast of Guangdong tomorrow. A band of clouds will also bring one or two rain patches to the region. A replenishment of the monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong early Wednesday. It will be slightly cooler in the morning over the region in the middle and latter parts of this week. With the band of clouds covering southern China thinning out gradually, the weather will be mainly fine over the region during the weekend and early next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Koto will linger over the central part of the South China Sea today. It will then move towards the vicinity of the southern part of Vietnam and weaken gradually in the next couple of days. On the other hand, a broad area of low pressure now near Guam is expected to develop slightly in the next few days, and move towards the vicinity of the Philippines during the weekend.
