General Situation
The northeast monsoon will continue to bring generally fine and very dry weather to southern China in the next couple of days. It will be cool in the morning over the region, with a rather large temperature difference between day and night. A replenishment of the monsoon will reach the coastal areas of Guangdong tomorrow night to Thursday at first. Temperatures will fall slightly on Friday. Besides, a tropical cyclone now over the Philippines will move across the central and southern parts of the South China Sea in the next couple of days, then move in the general direction of the vicinity of Vietnam and the seas south of Hainan Island. Meanwhile, it will weaken gradually under the influence of the northeast monsoon. A band of clouds will cover the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong gradually over the weekend to early next week. There will be one or two rain patches over the region.
