General Situation
The northeast monsoon now affecting the coast of Guangdong will be gradually replaced by an easterly airstream tomorrow. It will be windy and cloudier over the region in the following couple of days. An anticyclone aloft is expected to cover southern China midweek next week. The weather will improve slightly over the region, although slightly cooler in the morning. Besides, an area of low pressure will affect the central and southern parts of the South China Sea today and tomorrow. Another area of low pressure will develop gradually over the western North Pacific to the east of the Philippines, with a higher chance of moving across the Philippines and entering the central and southern parts of the South China Sea midweek next week, moving towards the vicinity of Vietnam.
