General Situation
An anticyclone aloft will bring generally fine weather to Guangdong in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, an easterly airstream will affect the coast of eastern Guangdong. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to affect the vicinity of the east of the Philippines to the central part of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of this week. It will gradually edge closer to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China over the weekend to early next week. There will be a few showers over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Halong over the western North Pacific will move across the seas south of Japan and intensify gradually in the next couple of days.
