General Situation
An anticyclone aloft will bring generally fine and persistently very hot weather to Guangdong in the next few days. A broad trough of low pressure is expected to affect the vicinity of the east of the Philippines to the central part of the South China Sea in the middle and latter parts of this week. It will gradually edge closer to the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of southern China over the weekend to early next week. There will be more showers over the region. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Matmo will move across inland areas of Guangxi to the northern part of Vietnam and dissipate gradually today.
