Tropical Cyclone Matmo will move towards the vicinity of Leizhou Peninsula tomorrow. Under its influence, it will be windy with squally showers over the coast of southern China. Seas will be rough with swells. With Matmo departing and dissipating gradually, the weather will improve over the coast of Guangdong on the Mid-Autumn Festival. An anticyclone aloft is expected to bring mainly fine and very hot weather to southern China in the middle and latter parts of next week. A broad trough of low pressure will bring a few showers to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea next weekend.
