Hong Kong Weather Forecast 2025-09-29

General Situation

An anticyclone aloft will bring generally fine and very hot weather to Guangdong in the next few days. An area of low pressure is expected to develop gradually into a tropical cyclone over the seas east of the Philippines midweek this week, edging closer to the vicinity of Luzon and entering the South China Sea afterwards. It will move in the general direction of the vicinity of the western coast of Guangdong to the eastern part of Hainan Island. However, its intensity remains uncertain. Under its influence, it will be windy with showers and there will be swells over the coast of southern China over the weekend. With the anticyclone aloft strengthening again, showers will ease off over the coast of Guangdong on the Mid-Autumn Festival and the day after. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Bualoi will move across the northern part of Vietnam today and tomorrow, moving into the inland areas of Indo-China and dissipating gradually.
