General Situation
An anticyclone aloft will bring generally fine and persistently very hot weather to Guangdong in the next couple of days. Under the influence of an upper-air disturbance, there will be showers and thunderstorms over the coast of Guangdong early next week. Meanwhile, a broad trough of low pressure will bring unsettled weather to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea to the seas east of the Philippines. An area of low pressure may develop within the trough of low pressure. With the trough of low pressure moving northwards and edging closer to the coast southern China in the middle and latter parts of next week, the weather will become unsettled with more showers over the region.
