General Situation
The tropical cyclone over the southern part of Guangxi will move into inland areas and dissipate gradually today. An anticyclone aloft will strengthen gradually in the next couple of days, showers will ease off and the weather will improve over the coast of southern China. It will be very hot in the latter part of this week. The area of low pressure now to the south of Guam is expected to develop gradually in the next few days and move towards Luzon. It will then move across the northern part of the South China Sea, in the general direction of Hainan Island and its adjacent waters. However, there are uncertainties in its development over the South China Sea and its distance from the coast of Guangdong. Besides, the tropical cyclone over the vicinity of the Ryukyu Islands will move across the East China Sea and weaken gradually today and tomorrow.
