General Situation
The tropical cyclone over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea will move across Hainan Island towards the vicinity of Beibu Wan today and tomorrow. Under the combined effect of the tropical cyclone and the ridge of high pressure over southeastern China, it will be windy with heavy squally showers and thunderstorms over the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea. With the tropical cyclone moving into the inland areas and weakening, showers will ease off gradually over the coast of Guangdong midweek this week. An anticyclone aloft is expected to strengthen slightly in the latter part of this week, the weather will improve over the coast of southern China. It will be very hot during the day.
