General Situation
The broad area of low pressure over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea will move north in the general direction of the vicinity of Hainan Island to the coast of western Guangdong in the next couple of days and may develop. Under the combined effect of the low pressure area system and the ridge of high pressure over southeastern China, it will be windy over the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea. There will be squally heavy showers and thunderstorms over the region in the next couple of days. With the low pressure area system moving into the inland areas of southern China and weakening, showers will ease off gradually and weather will improve over the coast of Guangdong in the middle and latter parts of next week.
